ALCHEMY COUNSELING | LONG ISLAND, NY

Marc is a passionate clinician who wanted to raise suicide awareness on social media, but was afraid that no one would be listening.

He had a lot of brilliant, important thoughts to share in his industry, but was hesitant about being in video reels.  His single-paged text posts on instagram were only scraping the surface of what he wanted to say, and he just wasn't getting the results he wanted.

We started by giving his brand aesthetic a facelift.

Marc's brand was conceptually sound, but wasn't optimized for social media.  We started by opting for more small-screen friendly fonts, refining the color palette to be a bit more soothing, as well as including more magical-inspired graphics to better reflect his practice name: Alchemy Counseling.  We even convinced Marc to go on camera and create reels!

Marketing strategy: Nicheing down to what matters most.

As a former crisis counselor, Marc is an expert on suicide and self-harm intervention.  As taboo as this topic is, we took the leap: We were going to talk about suicide on social media.  But Marc had noticed a deeper problem - When it came to treating suicide, even therapists in his own community were sometimes afraid, and thus, "The Alchemy Approach" was born: A 50 paged resource meant to empower clinicians to be more equipped for patients in crisis, written by Marc, designed by us.

Strategy that actually generates leads.

After really niching down and zoning in on a more specific audience, we developed a social strategy that generated steady, significant growth: Organic content, frequently collaboration with other creators, and low cost social media ads.

The result: Marc gained 8-10 new followers a DAY, and has increased his following by 50% in only ONE month.

Building a community and creating impact.

The more our marketing leaned into who Marc AUTHENTICALLY is, the more impact we had.  Marc's book on suicide intervention has been dubbed "important work" universally from all who read it - Even gaining acclaim from the director of the Long Island Crisis Center.

Marc now frequently collaborates with other health and wellness providers, and has built genuine friendships in his field.
Marc has become a dear friend of mine, and we are continuously working towards widening his impact, and working on the next book.
